Join Debby for a weekend of the Bando Monk System and Healing Arts Training. Syllabus to be announced.
All are welcome to attend. Students are welcome to attend any or all of the weekend training sessions.
The Bando Monk System is a martial arts discipline that aims to minimize any harm to one’s opponents. Monk System practitioners focus on defensive skills and movements that avoid serious harm, if at all possible, to another. This practice involves maintaining a calm state of mind in the midst of verbal or physical attacks, and the use of de-escalation when possible to reduce the likelihood of harm to oneself, people one may be protecting, or even the aggressor.
